The Academy
Alim Mambetov and Christopher Faulman, young tennis professionals of former Woodlands Athletic Club (WAC), founded FM Tennis Academy in 2008. Today FM Tennis coaching staff is a team of USPTA certified tennis professionals, ex Division I college athletes, united by the idea to share their talents and love for the sport with others. We push our students to pursue excellence in tennis and in life. No matter what your goals are, whether it is to become #1 in the world, to play for a prestigious college team, or to lead the tennis lifestyle, we are here to help you achieve them together with us in one team. 

JUNIOR PROGRAMS
We place junior students in one of 5 groups depending on age and level of play. Our mission is to take part in building quality individuals at the same time as building quality tennis players. We work hard to help each of the student develop their fullest potential in tennis and character to make the perfect college choice or pursue the career of the bright professional tennis star. We create partnerships with our parents and juniors to move toward improving each player individually, step by step. For that, we use all the known technologies including traveling with the kids and coaching during their tournament play. Besides pursuing athletic excellence, senior junior students get involved with us in making our programs successful and work with younger players as mentors.

ADULTS 
Ladies and Men are invited to our Adult Clinics (all levels). These are drop-in drills, so no reservation is required! You will be divided into groups of 6 or 7 and drill with different pros. We practice doubles formations, volley drills, etc, etc. Drop-in drills are casual, yet challenging, environment that provides a good social introduction to the local tennis community. The many yearly events include boot camps, socials, mixers, leagues, and charity events. The Tennis Pro Shop has everything to keep you informed of any upcoming leagues and events. Come prepared to hit lots of balls and have fun!

INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE
We welcome international students to join us and participate in one of the programs. We consider it is one of the best places in the world to learn tennis and life, to build your character. We are located in River Plantation, a green subdivision of Greater Houston Metropolitan area, just 30 min drive from Intercontinental Airport of Houston, Texas. The climate allows us to play all year round, the economics is strong, there are lots of USTA tournaments around here and people are the most friendly!… International students are provided with F1 visa support and aided in their placement in private or public schools. We arrange all their living needs, at high standards, so that they can concentrate on their academics and tennis without difficulty. We also will provide college placement support for those student-athletes seeking scholarships.
